Coach Derick had the pleasure of stumbling into the world of volleyball with the blessing of two daughters. Since 2014, Coach Derick has helped his daughters and their peers in the sport of volleyball. That help slowly turned into coaching. He has developed volleyball players (boys and girls) ages 5 through 18 and coached 14U, 17U & 18U Club volleyball. Coach Derick has received certified training through the AZ Region of USA Volleyball in SAFESport, IMPACT, Concussions, and CAP 1 certifications. Coach Derick loves coaching volleyball and enjoys the sport's positive effects on players of all ages and skill sets. He believes in a never-give-up attitude and always playing with 100% effort.
